Why is it important that I know who I am?

Imagine being a mathematician who doesn’t understand maths, or a farmer who doesn’t

know how to grow things. On the surface, it may seem that we all understand what it is to be

human; that we know how to be this human being.

Yet in my work with men, I have found that before we engage in any personal development,

we are often operating as a collection of different parts, each with its own history and

agenda. Not only that, these parts tend to function according to how we were taught and

conditioned to live as children.

If I don’t truly know myself, I continue to behave and live largely as I always have since

childhood. My early life shaped the man I am today. Yes, we grow and evolve, but for the

most part I behave as I always have, and I think and believe what I always did.

Yet it doesn’t have to be this way. Why would I not choose to know myself, to love, heal, and

evolve if I could?

And I can.

Join us on Tuesday 10th March at 6:30pm (GMT) for Who’s Driving the Bus?

In this live online community workshop, you will have a chance to check-in, then to take a look at the parts of you that are alive in your check-in so that you get a good idea who is functioning within you.
